The biochemist added that violations relate to exceeding the norms for the content of microorganisms. She recommended using a purifier that can be connected to the water supply. The expert explained that the device filters water from mechanical particles, heavy metals and chlorine, and also disinfects it with an ultraviolet lamp and enriches it with minerals.
Earlier, the director of the Western Water Treatment Plant (WSS) of Mosvodokanal Andrey Smirnov said, that tap water in Moscow is deeply purified, so you can not use filters with carbon cartridges at home. According to the expert, Muscovites needlessly install filters with carbon cartridges in their homes. In fact, they filter water already purified in the same way, Smirnov pointed out.
