Music label threatened with fine for Morgenstern and Aljay's songs

Rhymes Music label faces a fine for promoting drugs in the songs of Eljay and Morgenstern in the songs of Russian rappers Aljay (Alexey Uzenyuk) and Morgenstern (Alisher Valeev). This is reported by the Telegram channel Mash.

The Zyuzinsky District Court of Moscow received an administrative violation protocol against the Rhymes Music label. It is noted that the reason for the claims against the company was the release of videos for Morgenstern's song “Whiskey for Breakfast” and a video for Eljay's Hello Kitty track. Both works mention drugs.

Now Rimes Music LLC has found itself under the threat of a fine from 1 to 1.5 million rubles or suspension of activities for up to 90 days if the court proves the fact of violation under Part 1 of Article 6.13 (“Propaganda or illegal advertising of drugs”) of the Administrative Offenses Code of the Russian Federation.

This summer, Morgenstern was fined for drug propaganda. The expertise was carried out in relation to his clips for the compositions “Rosé Wine 2” and Family. The Zyuzinsky District Court of Moscow ordered the artist to pay 100 thousand rubles. The rapper was found guilty under part 1 of article 6.13 (“Propaganda or illegal advertising of drugs”) of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation.
