Travis Scott Canceled Day N Vegas Show Following Death Stampede

American hip-hop artist Travis Scott canceled his next show death crush at his Astroworld festival. Variety reports.

The rapper will not appear at the Day N Vegas festival, which will take place on Saturday, November 13th. Sources of the publication claim that the musician is “too upset” after the incident. He intends to reimburse all attendees for the ticket.

The crush occurred on November 5 at the Astroworld in Houston during Scott's performance. It lasted half an hour, during which time more than 300 people were injured. Eight fans of the rapper died from their injuries. They were between 14 and 27 years old.

One of the attendees of the event, Manuel Sousa, filed a lawsuit against Scott and the organizers. As follows from the materials of the case, the musician and the organizers of the site are accused of “a predictable and preventable tragedy.” According to Souza, they put profit over the health and safety of the event attendees. The plaintiff's lawyers also pointed out that they decided not to stop the show even after ambulances arrived at the scene.
