The crustacean was acquired by the owner of the restaurant Toshiaki Nakamura. “The coronavirus pandemic has finally calmed down, and I want people to know that the restaurants are okay,” he said.

Since 2015, the Fukui authorities have selected the most symmetrical and weight-appropriate crabs among the caught crabs and sell them under the Kiwami brand. During the 12 months ended March 31, only 67 crabs, or 0.04 percent of the total catch, were certified for sale under this brand.

It was previously reported that ten fishermen from the Indian city of Digha, West Bengal, caught 33 rare green nibies and sold them at auction for a huge amount. The fish were caught in the nets when fishermen were fishing off the coast of Odisha.
