The authorities of Primorye said that the validity of vaccination certificates remains the same
in personal accounts on the portal of public services should not cause alarm among residents of Primorye. So the Ministry of Health of the Russian region commented on the information on the reduction of the validity period of QR codes, RIA Novosti reports.
Earlier, the media reported that the validity period of vaccination certificates was reduced from one year to six months. Users saw such data on the portal of state services.
The Ministry of Health of Primorye reported that the department did not introduce new validity periods for vaccination certificates. They added that the Ministry of Health enters the patient's data into the unified Russian register of vaccinated – this is where its powers end.
Residents of Primorye who have completed the full course of vaccination with Sputnik V, EpiVacKorona and KoviVac receive a certificate, which is valid for a year. Those who were vaccinated with “Sputnik Light” receive a certificate for six months, the Ministry of Health explained.
From November 8 in Russia, residents can receive new certificates of vaccination against coronavirus, medical contraindications to it, or a past illness. The document is available in English and Russian, and can be obtained in paper or electronic form. The certificate will contain detailed information about the owner, data from SNILS and the compulsory medical insurance policy, as well as contraindications to vaccination.
