Gascade: gas pumping through the Yamal-Europe gas pipeline stopped in both directions
Through the Yamal-Europe gas pipeline, which is used for the supply of Russian natural gas to Poland and Germany, the pumping of fuel in both directions was stopped. RIA Novosti writes about this with reference to the data of the operator of the German gas transmission network Gascade.
Supplies from Poland to Germany stopped on October 30, after which the pumping went in the opposite direction. Transit resumed five days later, but the next day the reverse began again. On the morning of Monday, November 8, at first, the reverse flow rate dropped 1.6 times, to 88 thousand cubic meters per hour, and then the gas pipeline was completely stopped using.
