The head of the city department, Shevchenko, went to the protesting parents. He explained that the mayor's office recommended that schools organize blended learning. Each educational organization makes an independent decision to transfer children to distance learning, he added.
Earlier, the head of the Ministry of Education Sergei Kravtsov said that Russian schoolchildren are not planned to be transferred to distance learning after November 7. He stressed that the department does not see the need to change the format of training.
