Polish Prime Minister Morawiecki convened an anti-crisis headquarters due to the situation with migrants 
for the situation with a crowd of illegal migrants near the border with Belarus. This was announced by the press secretary of the Polish government Piotr Müller, quoted by the newspaper RP.
According to Müller, the meeting will be attended by the head of the government Morawiecki, leader of the ruling Law and Justice party, Deputy Prime Minister Jaroslaw Kaczynski, Minister of National Defense Mariusz Blaszczak, Minister of Internal Affairs and Head of Administration Mariusz Kamiński.
Polish Interior Minister Mariusz Kaminsky specified that the authorities are closely watching the Kuznica border checkpoint for several days, and the security forces are ready for any scenario. p>
“Strong border protection is our priority. The number of border guards, police officers and soldiers has been increased. We are waiting in full readiness, “he warned on Twitter.
Earlier, the Polish Border Guard posted a video showing crowds of migrants walking towards the Polish-Belarusian border. The footage shows people of all ages with bags and bales. Eyewitnesses estimate the size of the crowd at about 500 people, border guards say there are about a thousand of them.
As told in the State Border Guard Service of Belarus, the refugees intend to obtain asylum in Poland. The Polish Ministry of Defense has increased the level of combat readiness of its troops.
