State Border Committee of Belarus: shooting is heard from the Polish side
The State Border Committee (GBC) of Belarus announced the shooting in the border area with the Polish sides. This was reported by “Sputnik Belarus”.
“Shooting is heard from the Polish side,” said Anton Bychkovsky, an official spokesman for the State Procurement Commission.
On November 8, a group of migrants from the Middle East gathered at the Belarusian-Polish border. The Polish government has estimated their number at three to four thousand people. In Warsaw, they claim that the camp of migrants is guarded by Belarusian security forces. The Polish Ministry of Internal Affairs reported that it had stopped an attempt to break through the border.
An official representative of the Belarusian Civil Procedure Code said that the migrants lined up in a crowd at the border because of the indifference and inhuman attitude of the Polish authorities.
the crisis on the border of Belarus and the EU countries began after President Alexander Lukashenko threatened to weaken control over the flow of refugees and drug trafficking. This happened against the backdrop of yet another aggravation of relations between Minsk and the West.
