The State Border Committee of Belarus saw no reason for Poland to close the border crossing point Kuznitsa with the republic. This is reported by TASS.
The service said they did not see any objective reasons for such actions in Warsaw.
Earlier, the Polish Border Guard announced the closure of the Kuznica checkpoint on Tuesday morning, November 9 across the border with Belarus in connection with the migration situation after a group of migrants from the Middle East gathered on the Belarusian-Polish border on November 8. The Polish government has estimated their number at 3-4 thousand.
The migration crisis on the border of Belarus and the EU countries began after President Alexander Lukashenko threatened to weaken control over the flow of refugees and drug trafficking. This happened against the backdrop of yet another aggravation of relations between Minsk and the West.
