Member of the medical council Pavel Pafko Chekhia revealed the president's diagnosis Zeman, who was hospitalized in October. This is reported by RIA Novosti.

According to the doctor, the head of state has cirrhosis of the liver, he suffers from a chronic disease. A feeding tube was inserted into his stomach.

The day before, the head of the medical council said that Milos Zeman is currently not able to fully fulfill his duties. Doctors noted the improvement in the health status of the head of state, but believe that it is better for him to stay in the hospital.

Earlier it was reported that the Czech Senator Milos Vystrchil at a meeting of the upper house of parliament demanded the resignation of President Zeman. According to the parliamentarian, he can no longer fulfill his duties and will not soon be rehabilitated after the illness.

On October 14, it became known that Milos Zeman was diagnosed with hepatic encephalopathy. This disease is a serious complication due to acute or chronic liver failure. The 77-year-old politician was in intensive care on October 10.
