The Council of Mothers of the Eastern Administrative District of Moscow held an action in gratitude to the doctors fighting COVID-19
The Council of Mothers together with large families of the Eastern District of Moscow in a token of gratitude to doctors working in the fight against coronavirus infection held a campaign. Deputy of the State Duma, First Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Family, Women and Children – Tatyana Butskaya together with Elena Katz, deputy of the Moscow City Duma, chief physician of DGP 7, curator of the Council of Mothers of the Eastern Administrative District on behalf of Moscow families who prepared baked goods with their own hands, thanked doctors working with COVID-19 in Moscow polyclinics.
However, the action went far beyond the city, it was supported by parents throughout Russia: Sevastopol, Novosibirsk, Makhachkala, Angarsk, Moscow and others.
“We know that our doctors are fighting for the life of every patient, those people, who lies in the red zone of the covid chambers. We are mothers of many children from the “MnogoNas” club wanted to thank the doctors for their hard work, and therefore we baked all sorts of tasty treats for them. We think that this will somehow please our doctors! All this with a soul and a pure heart! Thanks to the doctors! Take care of yourself and your loved ones!” – noted the participant of the action Natalya Reshetnik.
As Tatyana Butskaya emphasized, the current rise in the incidence rate and the conditions in which doctors are forced to work in the fight against coronavirus infection deserve special attention. “That is why not only support for doctors and nurses is so important now, but also educational projects, actions that focus public attention on the fact that now doctors are again at the forefront of the fight against COVID-19 and our duty is to help them in the fight against the virus, wear masks, maintain social distance, vaccinate, take care of those who need help. Support morally! Moms and the Council of Mothers joined the action “We Are Together” and over the past few days all family members, from the smallest to the oldest, baked cakes, cookies and pastries with love and respect for doctors as a token of our gratitude! – she emphasized. – And today we met with families to take baked goods to city polyclinics, where the red zones are located, to doctors who save hundreds of lives every day, and thousands across Russia. They are saving someone's mothers, fathers, grandparents. We decided to thank these teams, the medical teams of several clinics between their work shifts, because their work is really difficult mentally and physically! ” there are 30-60 calls.
