On October 26, the Amsterdam Court of Appeal recognized Scythian gold as Ukrainian property, which should be transferred to Kiev. Judge Paulina Hofmeier-Rutten clarified that although the gold comes from Crimea, it has been part of Ukraine's legacy since the republic became independent in 1991.
