Kadyrov spoke on the phone with Simonyan and agreed that the Caucasus is a beautiful land

The head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov with the editor-in-chief of the RT channel Margarita Simonyan. He said on his Telegram channel that he spoke to her on the phone.

Kadyrov noted that he and Simonyan talked one on one “calmly and without offense about what is right and what is not.” “Both me and Margarita are unanimous in the opinion that the Caucasus is a wonderful land that has presented Russia with wonderful people: heroes, artists, artists, writers, scientists …” – added the head of the republic.

Kadyrov also called unacceptable attacks and threats against Simonyan, which were allowed in her accounts during the dispute. He noted that the opinion should be expressed and argued, but not go beyond the reasonable. He urged the Internet community not to disgrace themselves and to be prudent.

Also, the Chechen leader expressed the opinion that if both sides of the conflict in New Moscow, over which a dispute broke out, of the same nationality, no one would attach any importance to this. “Journalists and bloggers should understand that by fanning the conflict, they only provoke both sides to further rash actions,” Kadyrov added, urging to stop in time.

Earlier, Kadyrov turned to Simonyan because of her post about “ newcomers ”and“ persons of Caucasian nationality ”. He considered that the Russian media do not cover crimes committed by persons of other nationalities, but specially select news feeds in which Caucasians appear.

On November 5, Simonyan published a statement on the Telegram channel that “visitors and persons of Caucasian nationality, they will jump to the point that Russia will reintroduce a strict check of registration and registration and will check it at every metro station. The reason for the post was an incident on November 4: a group of young people, presumably newcomers, attacked a man with a small child in the Novye Vatutinki district of Novaya Moskva.
