Avialesokhrana: the area of forest fires in Russia as of November 6 amounted to 1622 hectares 
In Russia, the area of forest fires, as of Saturday November, amounted to 1622 hectares. During the day, the indicator has increased more than 17 times, follows from the data published on the website of Avialesoohrana.
A day earlier, the agency reported on active fires with an area of 93 hectares.
“Forest fires have been liquidated in the city Sevastopol, the Jewish Autonomous Region, the Trans-Baikal, Primorsky and Khabarovsk Territories, Tyumen and Orenburg Regions, “the Avialesokhrana said.
They added that in just the past day, firefighters extinguished 119 hectares. 147 emergency workers, 38 units of equipment and 14 aircraft took part in the liquidation.
According to Avialesoohrana, a special fire regime has been introduced in eight regions of Russia.
Earlier, due to forest fires in Sverdlovsk region, the area of which was 240 hectares, rescuers evacuated people. Among the 83 evacuated residents of the garden association “Mirny” there were 12 children, the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported.
