For the entire time of the pandemic in Japan, more than 1,720,000 cases of coronavirus infection were detected, of which 18,309 people died, over 1,700,000 recovered. It is noted that at the moment more than 98.4 million people have received the first component of the vaccine, which is 77.8 percent of the country's population.
Earlier, Prime Minister Yoshihide Suga said that all emergency restrictions aimed at combating coronavirus in Japan will be canceled. According to him, the abolition of restrictive measures will take place gradually, and the process itself was launched on September 30.
