Putin instructed to identify the sources of funds for the resettlement of residents of the carriage-towns
The Cabinet must submit a report to the President of the Russian Federation before November 1, 2017.
MOSCOW, June 23. /TASS/. The President of Russia Vladimir Putin instructed to identify the sources of funding for resettlement of citizens, residing in the carriage-towns in Eastern Siberia and the far East. According to the official Kremlin website, the head of state pointed out to the government of the Russian Federation on the basis of “Straight line” with Russians.
“To determine the number of citizens living in the buildings created in the period of industrial development of regions of Eastern Siberia and the Far East, and adopt a set of measures for their relocation to the new premises, providing sources of funding”, — stated in the instructions. The report on this subject, the Cabinet must submit to Putin until November 1, 2017.
Responding to a question from the resident Nyagan on when people will be resettled from the carriage-towns, Putin assured that this program will continue and the government will try to speed it up. He recalled that the issue of resettlement of barracks in the city center were raised in 2010. The President explained that the problem with the carriage-towns is that they are not housing, “therefore do not fall under the program of emergency housing.”
“However, the program on resettlement was created. Somewhere 500 with small families resettled, remained one thousand with small,” he said. “We will allocate money as long as the problem will not be solved”, — promised the head of state.
