The state Duma deputies banned from bringing phones into a meeting with the FSB Director

The speaker of the State Duma Vyacheslav Volodin has declared to deputies that on Friday a meeting with the Director of the Federal security service (FSB) Alexander Bortnikov not to bring cell phones.

“At the upcoming June 23 meeting, the decision on the first issue, behind closed doors. In accordance with article 37 of the regulations of the state Duma, it is strictly forbidden to carry on a private meeting and use a in private session mobile and other means of communication, means of recording and processing information”, — quotes “RIA Novosti” speaker.

Mr Volodin at the meeting of the state Duma called appropriate measures as a security issue, urging MPs to be “responsible for their own decisions.” The FSB Director will speak tomorrow at a closed plenary meeting on information security.
