The head of the Duma Committee on culture Stanislav Govorukhin believes that the amount you plan to allocate to culture in the Federal budget for 2017 and the planning period of 2018 and 2019, says that culture becomes for Russia a national priority.
The head of the Duma Committee on budget and taxes Andrey Makarov has informed journalists that amendments to the budget has allocated 1 billion rubles for the culture, this in particular: support tourism (300 million), the purchase of musical instruments (400 million rubles), touring regional theaters (about 233 million).
“Given the fact that our budget is quite modest, this is a very large amount. It is hoped that the culture becomes a national priority. We are extremely grateful to the leadership of the country because it understands this,” — said Govorukhin, told reporters.
Govorukhin also noted the positive trend of core funds in the budget allocated to culture, are not only to the needs of capital, but also in the regions.
“We have observed an increase in state support in the regions. For example, in this convocation, on the initiative of “United Russia”, was allocated 1.5 billion rubles for the rural house of culture”, — said the Deputy.
