Permanent representative of Ukraine to the Council of Europe Dmitry Kuleba called poetic duel of the statements of the President of Russia Vladimir Putin and Ukrainian leader Petro Poroshenko about Mikhail Lermontov.
“A new trend top diplomacy — a poetic duel. Imagine how the Putin administration has studied Shevchenko in search of an answer,” wrote he in his Twitter.
Putin during a straight line praised Poroshenko for knowledge of the Russian classics, commenting on his speech on the occasion of the introduction of bezveza with the EU, during which Poroshenko was quoted Lermontov.
