Moscow. June 11. INTERFAX.RU — Iranian Authorities on Saturday declared the destruction of the alleged organizer of the terrorist attacks committed by the terrorist group “Islamic state” (banned in Russia) this week.
About this on air of the state television of the country, said Minister of intelligence and national security, Mahmoud Alavi, reports The Wall Street Journal.
Alavi did not disclose the suspect’s name and information about his death. He noted that the intelligence service of one of the allies of Iran cooperated with the authorities. The Minister also spoke about the arrest of 42 or 43 of alleged terrorists associated with these attacks.
On the morning of 7 June, armed men opened fire in the Parliament building of Iran. Then came the attack on the mausoleum of Ayatollah Khomeini. According to the latest data, the number of victims has reached 17 people, more than 50 were injured. This is the first terrorist acts committed in Iran, the responsibility for which was assumed by the terrorist group “Islamic state”. Tehran claimed that the attacks carried out by five of the Iranians, who joined ISIS.
