Putin discussed with the Emir of Qatar, the crisis in the region
Moscow. June 6. INTERFAX.RU — Russian President Vladimir Putin discussed in a telephone conversation with Emir of Qatar Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani issues in Russian-Qatari cooperation and international issues, the press service of the Kremlin.
“Vladimir Putin reiterated the principled position of Russia in favor of resolving crisis situations by political and diplomatic means through dialogue”, — stated in the message.
According to the press service, “discussed issues of Russian-Qatari cooperation, primarily in trade-economic and investment spheres. Praised the outcome of the April meeting of the bilateral intergovernmental Commission.”
