Russian President Vladimir Putin did not directly answer the question about whether he believed Syrian President Bashar al-Assad a “bad person” as he believes the US President Donald trump, the correspondent of “Газеты.Ru”.
Journalist Megyn Kelly asked the Russian leader about it during the plenary session of the SPIEF-2017.
“You ask the other leaders who spoke with him. He was often in Europe than in Russia after he was elected. We are defending there is not so much of President Assad how the Syrian state,” – said Putin.
According to him, Russia does not want Syria to repeat the scenario in Syria, Somalia or Afghanistan.
