There is nothing independent in the world, appointments of U.S. intelligence is talking about it, said Russian President Vladimir Putin at plenary meeting within the framework of St. Petersburg international economic forum.
“As for independent sources, there is nothing independent in the world. And even the last appointments of your (American — ed.) special services suggests that the preference is still there”, — said Putin, answering the question about the US report on the alleged RF interference in the elections.

Currently in Congress, is under investigation over alleged intervention of the Russian Federation in the United States presidential election, won by Donald trump.
