The total number of terrorist crimes in the last five years in Russia was reduced almost ten times. This was stated by Secretary of the Russian security Council Nikolai Patrushev, speaking at the ceremonial meeting dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the security Council.
According to him, the execution of decisions of security Council achieved a low level of terrorist threat in the territory of the Russian Federation. “The total number of terrorism-related crimes over the past five years has decreased almost ten times,” – said Patrushev.
He added that “these results are particularly important against the backdrop of frequent cases of terrorism abroad, including in European countries”.
