Named the winner of national selection round of the Junior Eurovision

YALTA, 3 Dec — RIA Novosti, Victor Liashenko. Muscovite Polina Bogussevich became the winner of national selection round of the Junior Eurovision, told RIA Novosti in the press service of the international children’s center “Artek”, where the competition was held.

“The victory in the final of the national selection was won by Pauline Bogussevich,” — said the press service.

Thirteen-year-old singer performed the song “Wings”.

To win in the final to claim 21 participants, 20 participants were selected according to the results of previously submitted applications and semi-final, held at the Academy of popular music of Igor Krutoy. And the 21st was the finalist of the project “You’re super!” — Kirill Esin.

The jury included the composers Yevgeny Krylatov and Grigory Gladkov, the singer Dina Garipova, General Director of “Children’s radio” Evgenie Kombarov, the finalist of the Junior Eurovision song contest Lerika, Director of TV channel “Karusel” Tatyana Tsyvareva.

“Artek” for the second year hosts contestants, defending the right to represent Russia in the prestigious competition. The 15th annual children’s song contest “Eurovision-2017” will take Georgia. The final will take place on November 26.
