Acting Director Isaac denied rumors of resignation at own will
Irada, Vovnenko stated that it is in the workplace and continues to work.
Moscow. June 2. INTERFAX.RU — acting Director of the state Museum-monument “St. Isaac’s Cathedral” Irada, Vovnenko, who took office yesterday, has denied that he wrote a letter of resignation.
“Not confirmed”, — said Vovnenko “Interfax” on Friday in response to a request to confirm the media reports that she wrote the letter of resignation at own will.
“I’m in the workplace, work, sign the documents,” said Vovnenko.
In a press-service of the Museum, “Interfax” also said that, Vovnenko continues to perform the duties of the Director of St. Isaac’s Cathedral.
Earlier in some mass media there appeared information with reference to Vovnenko that she allegedly wrote a statement of resignation.
And on Friday morning, other media outlets reported that the Governor of St. Petersburg Georgy Poltavchenko has instructed urgently to find a replacement appointed may 31, Vovnenko. Press Secretary of the Governor Andrey Kibito told “Interfax” that this information is not true.
