Dadina has awarded more than 2 million rubles compensation for unlawful criminal prosecution
Moscow. May 31. INTERFAX.RU Railway court of the Moscow region ordered the Ministry of Finance of Russia of 2 million rubles in favor of the opposition activist Ildar Dading for illegal criminal prosecution.
As the correspondent of “Interfax”, the decision on Wednesday was announced by judge Volha Petukhova.
Dading became the first and only convicted under article 212.1 of the criminal code (repeated violation of the established procedure of organizing or holding meetings, rallies, demonstrations, marches or picketing) after her appearance in the new edition of the criminal code in the summer of 2014. In December 2015 he was found guilty and sentenced to three years imprisonment, later the term was shortened to 2.5 years. He was sent first in Karelia, and then in the Altai colony.
February 22 this year, the Presidium of the Supreme court decided to cancel the verdict, Dading to release and to recognize his right to rehabilitation. February 26 he left the Altai colony.
