Dmitry Pescitarian: SBU accused of “Yandex” in the transfer of personal data of Ukrainians to Russian security services

In the Kremlin expect more details to understand the situation with the searches in the Kiev and Odessa offices “Yandex Ukraine”. This was stated press Secretary of Russian President Dmitry Peskov on Monday, may 29, reports “Interfax”.

“We need to understand what is the reason that it is investigative or Supervisory actions. We don’t know yet”, — said the official representative of the Kremlin, answering the question of how to react to Moscow raided the offices of Russian companies.

Earlier Monday it was reported that the security Service of Ukraine (SBU) carries out investigative activities in two offices “Yandex Ukraine” according to article of the Criminal code “high treason”. Company representatives confirmed the information about the searches. “Our offices have already left the lawyers. In the framework of legal procedures, we are ready to provide authorities with the necessary information,” said the National news service (NSN), her press Secretary Ksenia Korneev.

May 17, Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko signed a decree on a new package of sanctions against Russia. In particular, Kiev has decided to block the country job portals “Yandex” and Mail.Ru Group.
