Obviously, the journalists had a historical parallel. The meeting between the two leaders will take place at the residence of the French kings Versailles after three hundred years after the visit to France of Peter I. That trip marked the beginning of stable relations between the two countries.

Previously with the royals, the Russian President compared the French newspaper Le Figaro. Lighting visit of a Turkish leader Recep Tayyip Erdogan, the newspaper dubbed the policy “a king and a Sultan.”
