Putin declared Russia’s Decade of childhood

In Russia 2018-2027 years declared the Decade of childhood. The corresponding decree signed by Russian President Vladimir Putin, published on the official portal of legal information.

The head of state instructed the government within three months to approve the plan of action.

It is noted that this decision was made “to improve the state policy in the sphere of childhood protection, taking into account the results achieved during the implementation of the National strategy of actions in interests of children for 2012-2017”.

To declare a Decade of childhood in the late 2016 suggested by the speaker of the Federation Council Valentina Matviyenko, reported RIA Novosti. She argued that this project should respond to the new challenges appearing in the process of development of society.
