Charity marathon Running hearts for the day had for children, 50 million rubles

Charity Green marathon “Running hearts”, organized by Sberbank of Russia and Fund “Naked heart” in Moscow, gathered for one day record the amount of 50 million rubles to be spent on the expansion project early intervention for children with developmental disabilities. This was announced at a ceremony at the end of the race project organizer top model Natalia Vodianova.
First Green marathon savings Bank was held in 2012. In five years, the participants were more than 500 thousand people. “The goal of our race is a fundraiser for the expansion of the project “Early intervention for young children with developmental disorders”. This year the race attracted a record Fund “Naked hearts” the amount of 50 million rubles more than the total for the previous two race Fund”, — said Vodianova. All funds raised will be donated to the Fund “Naked heart”.
The geography of the marathon
The project was awarded by the UN environment programme for contribution to the development of the ecology of the planet. Twice he was awarded as the “gateway to the future”. Marathon has also established the Russian record as a mass sports event, held in the greatest number of cities within one day.
Geography Green marathon in 2017 widened. Only in the sixth marathon of Sberbank took part in 54 Russian cities and three countries, including Kazakhstan and Belarus. Participants of Green marathon have another 11 Russian cities — Vladimir, Saransk, Yoshkar-Ola, Kirov, Kostroma, Yakutsk, Tomsk, Surgut, Syktyvkar, Togliatti, and Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk.
The participants themselves chose the course. In most regions it was 4.2 km. In Moscow, the participants could choose one of three distances at 4.2, 10, or 21 km for the First time in the history of the marathon took place separate competitive ladder for a distance of 10 km — for people with disabilities and special health. The head of Sberbank German Gref together with the organizers of Natalia Vodianova and Polina Kitsenko opened the race in Moscow.

The marathon was also attended by Paralympic Champions and Paralympians, people with disabilities who are addicted to running, Olympic athletes, tandems of children with special health.
