When solving the tasks on ensuring regional and global security is totally unacceptable actions prejudicial to the interests of sovereign States, and also the practice of double standards, says the greeting message of the President of Russian Federation Vladimir Putin to the participants of the eighth international meeting of high representatives supervising security issues.
Greeting of the President was read at the opening of the meeting the Secretary of the Russian security Council Nikolai Patrushev.
As noted in the greeting, the focus of the forum is traditionally the subject of combating international terrorism, extremism and transnational organized crime, illicit drug trafficking and illegal migration flows, also the topical issues of protection of the information space.
“Effective solution of such a large and difficult task requires the coordination of efforts of all members of the world community. It is extremely important that measures to ensure regional and global security were made based on consolidated approaches in strict compliance with the principles and norms of international law. Categorically unacceptable actions that infringe upon the legitimate interests of sovereign States, and also the practice of double standards,” — said in greeting Putin.
“I would like to stress that Russia is ready to closely cooperate with all interested partners in confronting threats and challenges facing humanity today”, — said the President of the Russian Federation.
