Artistic Director of the Theatre of Nations Yevgeny Mironov at the ceremony of awarding in the Kremlin gave the President of Russia Vladimir Putin the letter of cinematographers and theatrical figures in support of the Director Kirill Serebrennikov.
The actor on Wednesday was awarded the order for merit to the Fatherland IV degree.

“After the ceremony I thanked the President for the high award and considered it his duty to inform him about the events of yesterday. Then I handed the letter of culture and art in support of Kirill Serebrennikov and his team with a request to pay attention to this case, to instruct the relevant authorities to investigate objectively, fairly and without extraordinary measures against the respected people who are willing to honestly and openly cooperate with the investigation,” — said Mironov “news”.
