The Commissioner for human rights in the Russian Federation Tatiana Moskalkova addressed to the President of the United States Donald Trump to pardon Russian pilot Konstantin Yaroshenko condemned in the USA.
“Today signed a letter to the US President on his pardon,” — said Moskalkova, the TV channel “Russia 24”, answering the question of journalists about the case Yaroshenko.
The Ombudsman also reported that she was the wife of the Russian, who told and poor nutrition in American prison-and the impossibility to make the transfer from relatives.
“I have repeatedly tried through the Embassy to raise the question about the possibility of my visit”, — she concluded.
Yaroshenko was convicted in the United States in 2011 to 20 years in prison on charges in the preparation of the conspiracy to commit delivery of large quantities of drugs into U.S. territory.
