Russia has complained to the WTO in Ukraine

Russia appealed to the dispute settlement body of the world trade organization (WTO) with a request in connection with the various restrictions, prohibitions, special requirements and procedures with respect to Russian goods and services on the Ukrainian market, reports RIA Novosti.

In addition, the topic for discussion should also be included in transit through Ukraine, told reporters on the sidelines of the Ministerial meeting of APEC, Minister of economic development of Russia Maxim Oreshkin. It idea about the limitations, which are introduced in 2014. Here at the APEC summit in Vietnam, the Russian Minister met with the head of the WTO Roberto Azevedo and told him about the lawsuit.

According to Oreshkin, Kiev “systematically and deliberately violating its international obligations by ignoring international trade rules, other rules of international law”. He also noted that some of these measures create additional problems for the economy of Ukraine.

“As we classify constraints on the operations with the Ukrainian currency, the ban on accredited journalists of the Russian news agencies and other mass media”, — said Oreshkin.
