According to the Agency, once people hit the car overturned, left two wheels up, the driver, 26-year-old former employee of the U.S. Navy Richard Rojas, shouting ran out of it and tried to escape, waving his arms. Day may 18, a man on a red Honda car drove into a crowd of people on times square at the intersection of 45th street and Broadway. According to eyewitnesses, the car rode against the traffic and on the sidewalk, knocking down pedestrians, and they found that the driver acted deliberately.

The incident killed 18-year-old girl from Michigan, with another 22 people were injured, including 13-year-old sister of the deceased.

When the car stopped, the driver jumped out and tried to escape, but was detained by witnesses.
