The procurement of weapons was not discussed at the meeting of Russian President Vladimir Putin and the head of the Palestinian national authority, Mahmoud Abbas, told RIA Novosti the Minister of foreign Affairs of Palestinian authority Riyad al-Maliki.
The talks between Putin and Abbas took place on Thursday in Sochi.
“We talked about the procurement of wheat, on joint projects in import and pharmaceutical industry, agricultural projects. Discussed the import of agricultural products to the markets of Russia and the EAEC, poultry and meat, and also discussed the possibility of purchase of Russian oil. Not talking about anything associated with the military sphere, we have not discussed this topic, as focus on the needs of the Palestinian people. This question is not on the agenda,” said al-Maliki.
