Russian President Vladimir Putin will meet with leaders of the parliamentary opposition – the Communist party, LDPR and “Fair Russia”, writes the newspaper Izvestia.
According to the newspaper, at the meeting, the party leaders will discuss with the President their candidates for the post of President of Russia.
Information about the upcoming meeting publication confirmed by sources in all three parties and the Kremlin. Thus a press-the Secretary of President Dmitry Peskov said that the event date is not appointed yet. It could be held as late as may, according to media sources, and in the summer, he said.
Earlier Vladimir Putin met with representatives of the parliamentary opposition at the end of the autumn session of the state Duma. This year’s meeting can coincide with the beginning of the election cycle in 2017-2018.
