Trump has proposed to abolish the regular press briefings “for the sake of accuracy”

The US President believes that the best solution would be to provide reporters written answers.

WASHINGTON, may 12. /Offset. TASS Boris Makarov/. The US President Donald trump on Friday stood up for the employees of its administration, interacting with the press, and offered to cancel the regular press briefings to provide more accurate information. He wrote about this in his Twitter.

“Because I am a very active President, and a lot going on, my deputies can’t speak in public with perfect accuracy! — wrote the American leader. — Maybe the best solution is to cancel all further “press briefings” and to provide (reporters) for the sake of accuracy in writing responses?”.

As a very active President with lots of things happening, it is not possible for my surrogates to stand at the podium with perfect accuracy!….

Trump repeatedly openly stated that most of the American media deliberately acts against him by publishing false information. He in particular touched upon at the end of February at a press conference in the White house when he indicated that “the level of dishonesty in the press is out of control.”

In March, the President called the newspaper The New York Times and CNN, NBC, CBS and ABC enemies of the American people.
