Former Governor of Chelyabinsk refused to comment on a possible arrest

Former Governor of Chelyabinsk region, former state Duma Deputy Mikhail Yurevich, who is suspected of receiving multi-million bribes, declined to comment on possible arrest in absentia. This was reported RIA Novosti his assistant Julia Bobyleva Friday, may 12.

According to investigators, in 2012, the Chelyabinsk Governor has received as the reward of 26 million rubles from Vitaly Teslenko (now serving a sentence on charges of taking bribes — approx. “Of the tape.ru”), who was appointed to the post of Minister of health of Chelyabinsk region.

Yurevich headed the Chelyabinsk oblast in 2010-2014, resigned at his own request. After his discharge, he received the mandate of the Deputy of the state Duma of the sixth convocation.
