Matviyenko: Russia will not be rampant juvenile justice

The Federation Council together with the state Duma is preparing proposals on improvement of legislation regulating relations in the family, and they are based on the values of the Russian culture. This was announced by the Chairman of the Federation Council Valentina Matvienko.
“No rampant juvenile justice system in our country was not, and — I declare with all responsibility — there will be. Strong, close-knit family in which parents and children are separated and love each other, trust each other, is one of the fundamental values of Russian culture. So we are against any measures that are contrary to this value,” — said Matvienko in interview to the newspaper “arguments of the week”.
According to her, government interference in the Affairs of the family, especially the removal of children from families as the most extreme.

“Together with colleagues from the state Duma are preparing proposals for improving the relevant legislation. We have one goal: help the family, especially families with children, promoting its preservation and strengthening, because that’s what is happening in the family, socialization of the person, instilling in him the core values, which it then goes through life. A key principle of our approach to this problem,” — said the Chairman of the upper house of the Russian Parliament.
