Lavrov said about the meeting with trump
MOSCOW, may 10 — RIA Novosti. The Minister of foreign Affairs of Russia Sergey Lavrov at the meeting at the White house discussed with the President of the United States Donald trump and Secretary of state, Rex Tillerson interaction of Moscow and Washington in the international arena.
“It was confirmed that, despite all the difficulties, our countries can and must work together to help solve key issues on the international agenda”, — Lavrov said at a press conference on the results of the talks.

The parties discussed the prospects for the next round of talks on Syria in Astana and the establishment of zones of de-escalation. As the Minister noted, the United States and Russia have a common understanding that such zones should be a step towards ending violence throughout the country that will help to solve the humanitarian problems and create the basis for a political settlement.
The meeting also touched on the Israeli-Palestinian question, the situation in Afghanistan and the observance of the Minsk agreements on Ukraine.
According to Lavrov, he made sure in the negotiations that the administration of tramp — “business people” who want to agree to address specific issues. “In a nutshell, now our dialogue is free from ideologized, which was typical for the Obama administration”, — he said.

“President trump clearly confirmed its interest to build mutually beneficial, pragmatic relations and to solve the problems,” — said the head of the Russian foreign Ministry.
He also said that the two leaders will meet in July on the sidelines of the summit of “Big twenty” in Germany.
The talks at the White house lasted a little over an hour and were closed to the press mode. The Minister was accompanied by Russian Ambassador to the U.S. Sergey Kislyak.
Lavrov’s trip to the USA was a response to Tillerson’s visit to Moscow, which took place on April 12. Then the negotiations took almost all day: first, the Secretary of state met with the foreign Minister, and then they met with Putin.
