Putin joined the Immortal regiment March

The President of Russia Vladimir Putin took part in the Immortal regiment March in Moscow, reports on Tuesday, may 9, TASS reported.

It is noted that the Russian leader for the third consecutive year joined the festive procession. It bears the portrait of his father-the veteran.

The stories of the President, Vladimir Putin Spiridonovich was one of the defenders of the Nevsky patch bridgehead on the East Bank of the Neva river opposite the Neva Dubrovka, held captive by Soviet troops of the Leningrad front. In 1941 he was seriously wounded. In the 1950s he served in the guards carriage works, and later worked as a foreman. Vladimir Spiridonovich was not in 1998.

Earlier, on 9 may, the Russian leader during the Victory day Parade on red square congratulated the Russians on holiday. He noted that the participants of the great Patriotic war will never be ashamed of the current residents.
