INTERFAX.RU — the defense Ministry will check the accuracy of the video circulated by ISIS (banned in the Russian terrorist group), which allegedly committed the execution of a Russian Colonel named Yevgeny Petrenko, the head of the Federation Council Committee on defense and security Viktor Ozerov.
“Of course, the Ministry of defence does not neglect any messages that relate to our military personnel, especially of this nature. Will be tested, and the results will be known,” — said Ozerov Interfax on Tuesday, commenting on the appearance of the corresponding video.
The Senator noted that he was unaware of the contents and the reliability of the footage, however, in his opinion, “in any case, even if it is fake, it should not be overlooked”
According to V. Ozerov, to determine whether the video commits the execution of the Russian military, “you can request all commanders of military units located in the territory of Syria.”
