Rex Tillerson and Sergey Lavrov
The Minister of foreign Affairs of Russia Sergey Lavrov on 9-11 may will visit the USA on a working visit. On Monday, may 8, reported on the website of the foreign Ministry.
According to the Ministry, may 10, Lavrov will hold negotiations in Washington, DC with the Secretary of state of the United States Rex Tillerson, during which it is planned to exchange views on key international issues and topical issues of bilateral relations, After this Lavrov will attend a Ministerial meeting of the Arctic Council in Fairbanks (AK).
Earlier it was reported that the meeting with Lavrov Tillerson is an initiative on the establishment of a de-escalation in Syria.
U.S. Secretary of state visited Moscow in mid-April. After the visit, he said that Russian-American relations “are at a low point”.
