BERLIN, may 6. /Offset. TASS Vyacheslav Filippov/. German investigators involved in the clarification of the scandal a right-wing extremist — a former member of the armed forces of Germany, Franco A., found in one of the barracks paraphernalia of the Wehrmacht (armed forces of Nazi Germany). On Saturday he told the magazine Der Spiegel.

According to the publication, in the garrison located in the town of Donaueschingen (Federal land of Baden-württemberg), the experts found the window with the steel helmets of the Wehrmacht.

There they found the room where were hung the paraphernalia of the armed forces of Nazi Germany

Investigators removed all on camera and sent the recording to the Ministry of defence, said Der Spiegel.

In connection with the scandal over the detention in the ranks of the Bundeswehr right-wing extremist the head of the defense Ministry of Germany Ursula von der Leyen ordered to report directly to her about the inspections, which were initiated after the incident.

The scandal became public on April 27, when we received information about the arrest of 28-year-old soldier of the Bundeswehr (armed forces of Germany) Franco A. on suspicion of planning a terrorist attack. As noted in the Prosecutor’s office in the fall of 2015, i.e. at the peak of the migration crisis, he came to the refugee reception centre, said that he came from the Middle East, and has applied for asylum in Bavaria. His request was granted after some time.

According to one version of the investigation, the young man stuck to extreme right-wing views and was going to commit a terrorist attack to cast aspersions on refugees. According to another version, the young man intended to enter the territory of the refugee centre where he was registered, and hold fire there.
