To participate in the XIX world festival of youth and students from the Russians, there were more than 61 thousand applications, according to a press release of the organizing Committee of the event.
The most active region was the Republic of Tatarstan, where at one place claimed to 13.3 person. Second and third place was taken by Nizhny Novgorod oblast (12.7 per place) and Sevastopol (12,3 per place). Lot of applicants appeared in the Kemerovo and Tomsk regions and the Altai territory.
Most of the applications came to the site of the festival “Art and creativity” — chose it when completing the registration form more than 12 thousand people. The most popular site in the “Sports and healthy lifestyles and the Development of public institutions, NGOs, philanthropy, volunteering”. The average age of applicants was 23 years. Was the most numerous age group of 20 to 25 years.
Of the total request of regional preparatory committees of the festival will select 10 thousand. After the selection of potential participants waiting for interviews.
XIX world festival of youth and students will take place from 14 to 22 October this year in Sochi, and will gather 20 thousand young professionals in various fields from 150 countries at the age from 18 to 35 years.
