Theologians of the Russian Orthodox Church (ROC) has called for tougher age of the American cartoon “the Simpsons” because of the new episode in which main character Homer Simpson catches pokémon in the temple. According to the clergy interviewed by TASS on the media market “began the active propaganda about the moral values in the teenage environment.” They believe that the Russian media market it is necessary to introduce a semblance of sanitation, and to protect children and adolescents from watching “the Simpsons”.

According to him, the show of the new series “the Simpsons” could provoke Russian youth to catch the pokemon in the temple, so the priest proposed to increase the age limit for this animated series.
