Zhirinovsky proposed to expel Ukrainian workers in retaliation for Samoylova

Kiev’s decision to ban entry to the country singer Yulia Samoilova, who was supposed to represent Russia at “Eurovision-2017”, is contrary to international law and constitutes grounds for the imposition of sanctions, the head of LDPR Vladimir Zhirinovsky. Earlier on Thursday the Deputy of state Duma Ruslan Balbec also called for the introduction of restrictive measures against Ukraine because of the incident with Samoilova.

The security service of Ukraine (SBU) banned Samoilova entry to the territory of the country on March 22. Such measures are related to the fact that the singer visited the Crimea after its reunification with Russia. In the Kremlin the decision called unfair.

“Eurovision-2017” will be held in Kiev. Dates of semi — finals on may 9 and may 11, the final will take place on may 13.
